Edited to include each story’s link as they’re written…
It’s been a while since I’ve answered any challenges to write fast fictions. To be fair, it’s a while since I’ve asked for any.
But, as we’re approaching the close of the year, I invited twelve creators to challenge me.
The challenge was the same in each case, the usual fast fiction challenge:
Give me a title of up to four words in length, together with a single word you want me to include in the tale, and I will write a story of exactly 200 words.
So, starting tomorrow, I’ll be answering challenges from twelve very special people, friends all, each of whom are supremely talented in their own fields.
Who are the twelve?
Well, in no particular order (and not necessarily the order in which they will be written)
- Neil Gaiman (the story)
- Wil Wheaton (the story)
- Amanda Palmer (the story)
- Warren Ellis (the story)
- Mitch Benn (the story)
- Ed Brubaker (the story)
- Greg Rucka (the story)
- Tony Lee (the story)
- Matt Fraction (the story)
- Jason Arnopp (the story)
- Kieron Gillen (the story)
- Jamie McKelvie (the story)
I’m very grateful they’ve agreed to challenge me; the stories will start appearing tomorrow.
Any questions?
None.
Looking forward to this.
Cheers…
